Kerevitaş maintained its growth performance focused on R&D, innovation, and sustainability in 2023.  

Kerevitaş, the leading company in the frozen food and edible oil market in Türkiye, has reported its financial results for 2023 to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). Having achieved a gross profit of TRY 3.8 billion and EBITDA of TRY 2.16 billion, Kerevitaş reached TRY 2.2 billion in exports in 2023. Operating under Kerevitaş, SuperFresh maintained its leadership in frozen and canned food in 2023 with a 42 percent revenue market share and launched 44 new innovative and channel-specific products. Having continued its growth by acquiring the leading frozen bakery products company Donuk Fırıncılık Ürünleri A.Ş. in 2023, Kerevitaş reinforced its market leadership by achieving a revenue share of 65.6 percent with a year-on-year increase of 1.3 percentile points through its significant brands, such as Bizim Yağ and Teremyağ, which have a 100 percent brand recognition. As the leader of the consumer margarine category in the Middle Eastern and Central Asian markets by a large margin for over 30 years, Kerevitaş singlehandedly carries out 34 percent of Türkiye’s edible oil exports as per the 2023 TÜİK (The Turkish Statistical Institute) data. 

The leading and expert brand SuperFresh, which drives the market, achieved successful business results and received a total of eight global and domestic awards by implementing a first in the category through its communication campaign ‘SuperFresh Bi’Yolculuk,’ which shared all the details of frozen food’s journey from the fields to the tables. SuperFresh Mac & Cheese Balls and SuperFresh Baked Potato Balls received the ‘Most Innovative Products of 2023’ in the Practical Meals category as part of the “Most Innovative Products of the Year” survey by Marketing Türkiye. 

Ülker Bizim Yağ, the market’s most widely consumed product, which goes into the highest number of households and has the most loyal consumers, reinforced its market leadership by a large margin in 2023, with a revenue share of 32 percent (Source: AC Nielsen Overall Türkiye, 2023 Packaged Margarine Revenue Share, Ipsos HTP 2023). The founder of the butter taste segment and the market’s most innovative brand, Ülker Teremyağ, gained 5 more percentile points in the bowl margarine market and reinforced its leadership by a large margin in all channels, with a revenue share of 47.4 percent in 2023 (Source: AC Nielsen Overall Türkiye Bowl & Liquid Margarine Tonnage Share 2023).
