Yıldız Holding Received The 'EQUAL-SALARY Certificate'

As a result of the evaluation made by the International EQUAL-SALARY Foundation based in Switzerland, Yıldız Holding received the EQUAL-SALARY Certificate, which is given to institutions that certify male and female employees are paid equally and have access to equal opportunities.

Yıldız Holding successfully completed the two-stage evaluation process carried out by the International EQUAL-SALARY Foundation and PwC in order to officially certify the wage equality between male and female employees and achieved a significant success to receive the EQUAL-SALARY Certificate.

Yıldız Holding is the first food & retail industry group with subsidiaries active in over 130 countries to become EQUAL-SALARY certified.

Within the scope of the certification process that Yıldız Holding applied for voluntarily, the Holding's data as regards diversity and inclusion, wage policy, recruitment processes, promotions and benefits, etc. were comprehensively examined based on a scientific methodology. At the end of the meticulously conducted process, Yıldız Holding was awarded the EQUAL-SALARY Certificate, which is considered a document that enhances the employer brand globally. In addition to data analysis during the certification process, detailed interviews were held with employees and HR teams in order to measure the internal perception of human resources practices. EQUAL-SALARY is a testament to Yıldız Holding's ongoing pursuit of excellence in equal pay and equal opportunities in the workplace.

About EQUAL-SALARY Certificate

The EQUAL-SALARY Certificate, issued by the Switzerland-based EQUAL-SALARY Foundation, which independently evaluates wage inequality in institutions with a scientific approach, certifies that male and female employees are paid equal wages for equal work in an organization. The EQUAL-SALARY Certificate, issued as a result of comprehensive inspections by the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation, remains valid for 3 years. During this process, the actions and work taken by the company in accordance with the principle of diversity and equality continue to be checked regularly. Companies that hold the certificate re-apply to ensure the continuity of the certificate at the end of 3 years.
